A couple weeks ago, I had the immense pleasure to shoot with Franca Perrotto, photograph/Make-up artist and co-owner of Espace Urbain; a brand new studio and creative boutique.
I must say I was a bit nervous prior our meeting. Not only am I not super familiar with the whole modeling world but I am also a bit self conscious when it comes to taking pictures. However, It took about 30sec for Franca to make me feel right at home in her newly renovated space. (Ps: the decoration is to die for!!)
Her amazing personality and energy manage to kick the nervousness away the minute I walked in! For our shooting, we decided to travel back in time with a “Sixties Style” look ( See the result below). Special mention to hair extraordinaire Andrew Gilbert who took volume to a whole new level in my rather flat hair.
Fast forward a couple weeks later, not only am I super happy with the end result( so much in fact that I have decided to use the picture below as my new logo), but I had the chance to meet a beautiful soul and make a new friend along the way!
PS: You can rent out Espace Urbain for your own shooting! They have two amazing studio with top notch amenities. The space is also showcasing tons of great products all made in La Belle Province! what else can you ask for!
